North Atlantic Seafood Forum, Bergen

Like every year in week nr. 10, Congress-Conference is providing support to the North Atlantic Seafood Forum, the worlds’s largest seafood business conference. Congress-Conference has been involved with the organization of the forum since its first edition, in 2006 and it is always a pleasure to work in Bryggen, Bergen’s oldest district and a world famous UNESCO heritage site.

In 2017 we have a registered a record 900 Norwegian and international participants who will network, exhange and learn from world class lecturers and panelists, including the Norwegian Fisheries Minister Per Sandberg who opened the Forum on Wednesday morning. The forum is made up of 11 sessions aiming to cover a varied ensemble of relevant and current issues such as the consequences of Brexit on fishing and seafood industries, sustainable fishing and the future of aquaculture. In addition to the business-oriented congtent, different social events are organized, including a Speaker’s Dinner at Haakon’s Hall, a 750 year old , former Royal banquet hall, a Cocktail party hosted by the French delegation and the Delegate Dinner, a feature of NASF during which some of the sponsors showcase their best products, for the enjoyment of the participants.
