Welcome Reception at Oslo City Hall
The Mayor of Oslo invites you to an official Welcome Reception at Oslo City Hall on Monday the 20th of May at 18:30. The celebration will take place in the hall that also hosts the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony. In addition to being one of Oslo’s most recognizable landmarks due to its unique style, the City Hall is also famous for the frescos and paintings by Henrik Sørensen.
Attendance is free of charge, however you have to sign up to attend. This can be done when you register.
NOTE! Doors open at 18.00. Latest entrance at the City Hall is at 18:15
Bring your conference card for identification. Mandatory cloak room.
How to get there:
- We all meet in the hotel reception at 17:15
- One group will WALK along the quays, The Harbour Promenade, to the City Hall (45 min walk)
- One group will TAKE THE TRAM to the City Hall (5-10 min walk at either end)
- Also possible to take a taxi
The Norwegian hosts would like to welcome all EAPH2019 participants to an unforgettable get-together on Monday evening at Lofoten Fish Restaurant after the Welcome Reception at the City Hall.
Meet and greet your international peers in an exciting and informal atmosphere while enjoying the very best of Norwegian seafood. We are convinced that our conference dinner, hosted in a charming location at the harbor, will enrich the conference and your stay in Norway.
For the dinner, we have chosen the Chef’s Meny, a 3-course menu for NOK 585. You can also order the wine package (3 glasses of wine) for an additional 445 NOK. Booking and payment can be done when you register to the conference. Please note that you can also buy drinks directly at the restaurant, as well as the wine package.
